First look at the Bluewater supermap. Determine where the best water is ie upwelling salinity content plankton density. Find a good friend with a capable boat that will run 35mph in 4-6' swells. Preplot the waypoints considering tide influence on current. Run up current of predicted spot'. Deploy lines while moving to spot by the 3rd or 4th set-up if you had good prep and understanding of the tools available you should have a fish on. Gaff first fish. High five get the grip n grin shots redeploy and repeat
Actually My wife Mary will not divulge a few extra ingredients so bear with me. Spray coat your grill
Make a rub using 1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4tsp red peper flakes crushed
1/4 tsp old bay seasoning
1/4 tsp nutmeg
spritz of salt n pepper
1/4tsp lemmon pepper
Mix all stuff well
(optional) lightly rub 1" tuna steaks in oil (olive) coat steaks with rub using fingers (clean ones)
Heat grill to sear on grill 2minutes on first side one minute on second side.
Drizzle lime juice (optional)
(optional) drizzle soy sauce on plate with a little wasabiplace tuna steak on top and enjoy |
